NQ Trade Review 7/14 – Entry, Management and Lessons

Entry
I waited for NQ to come into an area I was already watching instead of just jumping in. Once price gave me confirmation, I took the trade and let it work. The setup wasn’t perfect, but it was clean enough for me to execute.
Management
Once the trade moved in my favor, I focused on protecting the profit. I didn’t keep pushing for another huge day after what I made on Day 1. I got the account up to $104,500, locked it in, and stopped trading.
Lessons
The biggest lesson from Day 2 was knowing when enough was enough. I didn’t need another home run. I needed a solid green day that helped with consistency and moved me closer to passing.
Sometimes the best trade management decision is simply closing the platform and keeping what the market already gave you.
